|Speech Language Pathologist Mrs. Santefort - Speech Language Pathologist|
Hello! My name is Mrs. Santefort. This is my sixteenth year working as a speech language pathologist. I have the best job ever. I get paid to play with preschoolers! The tools of my trade are books, songs, games, and toys. I love this school so much; I drive here from St. John, Indiana! I received my Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Northern Illinois University where I learned that therapy needs to be explicit, intensive, and supportive.
I do my best to provide feedback after my pull-out sessions. I usually do this in the form of a homework sheet or a hand written note. If your child returns the note or worksheet, he or she will receive a stamp on his or her chart. For the worksheets, feel free to keep them as long as you want. I recommend that you make a copy or take a picture for yourself and return it the next session so your child receives the stamp in a timely manner. I send back all the homework at the end of the year to help you maintain your child's skills.
